I almost forgot to mention that Ander decided we needed dashboard charms this trip. He brought along some of his home grown chilies, some of which turned bright red by the time we got to New Mexico. He could not leave behind his last harvest of his first tomato crop either, so they were also along for the trip.
We ate some of the tomatoes in Reno, but found out no one in my family over there really likes tomatoes, so we brought them to New Mexico to enjoy. Here we are with our little HMB harvest, in our October home away from home kitchen in Madrid, NM.
