What a nice idea! Put on my boots and hike to where the ferns thrive and the water is falling. It always feels so magical. The smell of the mud and pine needles…ummmm.
This from a guide in SF Chronicle to waterfalls in the area:
“…throughout the Bay Area, the recent storms have turned waterfalls into a spectacular array of freefalls, cascades, chutes, stair-steps and cataracts…so now is the time to go. The bonus is that in the Bay Area, no matter where you live, there is a waterfall within your sphere of travel. Even from San Francisco, for instance, long, wispy Brooks Falls in Pacifica is only about 10 miles away.”
Check out where to go: Waterfall time is so delightful, let it flow, let it flow, let it flow
