An amazing artist demonstrates how his own life influences his art and children’s books.
Don’t know why I didn’t know this right away! For a year I have been practicing and my asthma is pretty much gone now.
Amazing stop animation by Artist Ishu Patel. It is worth the time to watch it to the end.
Now for something completely different, watch it to the end because it keeps morphing into more outrageousness!
Young animator/director — Kristofer Ström of Ljudbilden & Piloten, based in Sweden created this fun but sinister animation. This short work is a music video he created for the Swedish electronica band Minilogue. The track is “Animals,” and the video features colorful critter-blobs wreaking hyperfun havoc all over an urban real-life-scape.
David recommended this video. Cool, but creepy – never ending birth, death, rebirth!
A perky artful music video about of all things, “Ankle injuries”! I spied dominos, dice, lights…what do you see?
The film was intended to show what people have believed in and pointed to as evil throughout history. It was meant to get you to think about what evil really is. It is meant to show that when we get too obsessed with “evil” we might end up taking part in it ourselves. One has to separate evil and human cruelty. Human cruelty is people not being nice to one another. Evil is something else, it is something we have created, a word and a concept for things that are not acceptable. It is a label for things that we do not understand and dont want to understand.
This was a student project, hence the “unfinishedness” and abrupt ending. I ran out of time. I might update it later.
It was animated frame by frame in flash and composited and textured in AfterEffects.
Proud mama Judy Johnson-Williams emailed me the link to this video by her son Tyler, who is attending Art Academy. Check it out!
